Honored to be Featured: 'Country Roads Series: Sunset'

I am always thrilled to share my latest artwork with others. My latest experimental piece is a captivating colored pencil drawing titled, "Country Roads Series: Sunset." This artwork, created on wood panel, is a bright and colorful self portrait that showcases a stunning scene of a country road within the state of West Virginia.

This artwork holds a special place in my heart cause it was created as a tribute to my grandma, who always loved the "Country Roads" of West Virginia. The vibrant colors and intricate details in this drawing capture the beauty and spirit of my grandma and the state that holds a special place in her heart.

I was honored to have this drawing on display at Tamarack during the 2019 Juried Exhibition, which ran from June until August. It was a pleasure to have my work featured alongside many other talented artists and to see it appreciated by those who came to check out the exhibition.

But the journey for this piece didn't stop there - it was then selected to travel to Charleston to be featured in the West Virginia Division of Culture and History Juried Exhibition. This prestigious exhibition ran from November 2019 until February 2020 and provided another opportunity for my work to be recognized and enjoyed by a wider audience.

And the good news just keeps coming - I am also excited to announce that I won the People's Choice Award at Tamarack's Juried Exhibition! It is an honor to have my work recognized and I am grateful for the support and encouragement of my fellow artists and art enthusiasts.

It is always a pleasure for me as an artist to share my artwork with others and to have it selected for an exhibition. With possibilities like this, my enthusiasm and drive to create and share my work with others are continually rekindled. I'm appreciative of the chances I've had to exhibit this portrait, and I'm curious to see where my artistic path will lead me next. Again, I would like to thank everyone who has helped me and supported my work.
