ABOUT THE ARTIST
Hello there!
I’m Nicole Suptic + I am a portrait artist
from West Virginia.
While I have always enjoyed drawing, my love for portraiture emerged after I discovered a drawing of myself as a kid, which my parents had an artist quickly sketch at a local fair. (Major props to that artist, she really started something!) When I discovered this drawing at the young age of thirteen, I was determined to recreate the portrait. With my drawing supplies in hand, inspiration took over and I started drawing faces. (Spoiler alert — it did not go smoothly at first!) The artist I am today is the result of true dedication, thousands of hours of practice, and hundreds of covered sketchbooks, canvases, and drawing boards.
After dedicating my young life to developing my creative talents and skills, it was evident that I would have a career in the art world. I studied at Concord University which is where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art with an emphasis in Drawing and Painting.
I have always been very passionate about art and my creative journey. People have always been my favorite subject to recreate within my art, but I also love creating portraits of people’s furry animals. It is extremely rewarding as an artist to transform a blank space into an expressive portrait full of life!
It is also incredibly rewarding to share my art with other people. Each and every portrait that I create is one-of-a-kind, which my clients can cherish for a lifetime. I do accept commissions from all over the globe, so feel free to view some examples of my work and contact me if you would like to commission a special portrait of your own!
